Hey guys, nice app but when it comes to the UI of the app, well to paraphrase it, its ugly and not Mac like. Please fix it. Something like iPhoto.

this program does more then they show in pictures. get it.
I was expecting a bit more effects in this Great Photo Pro. The app is polished looking, however you cannot seem to adjust the effects FX and the effects are minimal then I suppose their full blown "Photo Effect Studio". I guess I was hoping this wouldnt be pared down. I own a $100 professional fractalish app that does more, there is another $20 app in this store which comes very close. I do like the all in one aspect of this app, I do like the apeture effects. I purchased the "Photo Effect Studio" as well and it does have more filters then this "Great Photo Pro"
I like this one. I own Photoshop but I just love this app. Intiutive and plesant to play with. NICE
I was expecting the same effects that you can buy in the Big Aperture independently - but instead it didnt give me the lasso effect which is extremely dissapointing. I now have a piece of software that I really cant get the beneift of. Wish I had bought just the Big Aperture application on its own. Not worth the $5.99 in my opinion.
I have Photoshop, but when I want to make quick adjustments while on the road, I now turn to this app! … Almost too easy to control, impressive results! (Installed on OS X El Capitan10.11.3)
I am not even able to upload photos in this app to edit them. I regret buying this app. I hate it.
Crashes uppon start
Crash uppon start …again. Please fix the problem.
My favorite one!!!
HDR, Color splash, big aperture, FX effects, basic adjustment etc, totally all around, totally worth the money !
The most powerful photo editing app I used by far. Post processing is much easier than PS, simple to creat amzing visual effects! Using this app is so fun, Lots and Lots options for my photo, just perfect!
Great Photo, great HDR trait, it has a very straightforward interface and good looking detail. I personally perfer my work came out as a “realistic” look as my wish. Fair to say this app doing an excellent job in term of tone mapping, which redefine lights and colors very real in the photos I shoot.
NOT USEFUL
The best of the best foto app, providing all the favorites features I wish to edit a photo. HDR and color splash are fantastic! Very pro photograph edting tool, but easy to use! I own DSLRs, and this is a great app for photographer, highly recommend !
Cant get my photos to save; all I get is a blank white photo.
I configured Aperture to use Great Photo as an outside editor. GP opened but the photo from Aperture wasnt there. Apparently no way to get it there. If you do the same with Adobe Photoshop, your photo will open in PS. Not so with Great Photo. No "Save As," no "Save," no "Close image" feature. The "Preferences" setting has too few options. I guess the only way to save the adjusted photo is to "Export" it. Sorry I wasted the money. Ill stick with Aperture and Photo Shop. I should have known better.
Like many of the photography apps in the App Store, what they do can be accomplished in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. The beauty of the apps, however, is in the time you save learning to do many of these things. I have several photography apps and have a lot of fun playing with them. I often combine techniues from one app to another. Great Photos Big Aperture feature is worth the price of the app to me. It accomplishes in one or two clicks what you would have to a couple of layers in PS or PSE. Recommended.
Im an avid photoshop & lightroom user, but I appreciate the ease of apps like snapseed and luminance on my ipad & iphone and was looking for something similar for the imac. Simply put this app does a hell of a job in a pinch. love the ease and high quality photographic effects. I start in photoshop and end with this app for those final "must-have" simple touches.
Not worth the money you cant access Iphoto or Aperture photos with this program. Iphoto has most of the same edditing effects.
